    Default Maiden Voyage HDS7 Touch

I had a couple of senior moments today. One was boat speed. I think I was moving a little too fast. Also, this is out of the box with no input from me. I need some advice as to settings, etc.

Don, those are some awful nice pics right out the box. Can't wait to see some after you tweak on it some.

Try low or medium on surface clarity to get rid of some of the surface clutter.

    Try contrast between 60-70.

I don't see any TM noise.

    Try auto sensitivity to auto-3.

very nice right out of the box, starting to make 'em fool proof now eh? Congrats on the new fishing tool.

In the 2nd pic down, what is/are the objects in the side scan pic? Fence posts or ??
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I'm going to guess bridge pilings.

Very good shots for right out of the box. I like my contrast in the 55-65 range and in shallow water I run on 800khz.
