    Default Charging a Battery

I started a thread because I didn't want to take away from the other post. My little charger has quit and all I have is a big charger now , it has a 2amp, 20amp, 55amp jump and a 140amp jump on it , my question is will the 20 amp be too much on my batteries on an overnight charge.

It depends on the charger. Most modern chargers will drop down to a maintenance mode after the battery is charged. This is good because if it didn't it could boil the water out and ruin the battery. You need to make sure yours works this way.
