At 12 volts you are limited to the 55 lb motor. The I-Pilot link can be worked with the newer ethernet side and/or down imaging units. Get the biggest and best screen you can afford. I like the 900 series the best. That being said I do have an 1100 series unit. US2 is a sonar puck built into the trolling motor for ease of using a std 2d unit at the trolling motor without running extra cables down the shaft. If you are going to use SI or DI at the trolling motor it is not needed as you will have to run a second transducer for those units. To use all of the I-link features you will need the latest Lakemaster card also. If Lakemaster is not in your area a regular I-Pilot would be your best choice and you can get any unit you choose as they will not talk with regular I-Pilot.

Thanks, yes Lakemaster does have my lakes on it I fish. This is the unit I am looking at. So can I mount my fish finder at the back by the tiller motor and still link it to the I-Pilot? I prefer to fish from the back of the boat because I like to troll out the back while my daughter fishes from the front and sides.
