Well MSRP is 1500.00. So either they are getting us or they been getting the Talon guys for some time now. I liked the concept but still at that price point they have priced me out. Would also like to be able to just buy the 360 and mount only. I don't need the HS puck or the ethernet cables. Already got that. Very dissapointed at this time. Maybe something will sway me but for now just lost interest.

Sure is a lot of debate over at bbc but I think the definate is just not sure yet ... Even the advertisement says Maxxum and Terrova ...

Doug is supposed to report back with this info at or after Icast...

What I find interesting in the new bow mount 360 is the verification now that the deployment system is not an intregal part of the whole...

This could mean a possibility in the near future of innovators being able to just get the xducer puck and it work correctly without the other expensive brackets and deployment systems...

Options are good...and we are 1 step closer in determining what those options are ...

HMMM, interesting thought Rickie.......could be a bonanza for you. Even if they try to charge $1000 for the transducer a lot of people would consider a separate mount.

Now that front mount does look interesting! It's still too rich for my blood and my 997's won't support it anyway, but the idea is pretty revolutionary. The biggest drawback w SI for me has always been that it is essentially useless if you are stationary or even if you are moving at ultra slow speeds, like spider rigging. This seems to solve that problem.
It's all over but the fryin'......
