    Default PC Software -- Sonar Log Viewer ? -- Waypoint Management ?


    Since there is no way to manage Lowrance HDS data on an Mac
    I've decided to bite the bullet and get a PC laptop to get in on
    the fun of working with sonar logs and waypoint management.

    Could you guys recommend some good software to do this ?
    I would like to be able to view the StuctureScan logs and screen shots
    and make images from them. I would also like to be able to manage my
    waypoints. Rename them, organize them, etc. I am also interested
    in resources to learn how to use the software.

    This is what I will be working with --

    HDS10 Gen 2 with Structure Scan
    HP 8530P Laptop loaded with Windows 7 Professional
    Navionics HotMaps South mapping card

    Sonar Log Viewer from Lowrance is a must have Sonar Log Viewer - LOWRANCE | Marine Electronics

    GPS Data Manager is decent GPS Data Manager V.6 - LOWRANCE | Marine Electronics

    I use EasyGPS too.

    what about something that will work with a HB 587 HD DI unit?

    Register your unit with Humminbird...

    Then log into your account and HB PC will be available for download...
