Thread: Updates

Can someone give me some information about software updates? I have a Elite 7 HDI that works very well. There is a new software update 1.08, that is out. I have read about these modifications..... Not interested..... I hate to upset a good thing, a unit that seems to work fine. If another update comes out later. Do I have to update in order or just the last one. Thanks, I am sure some of the electronic experts have the answer

I'm no way an expert but after 2 updates I've done there is not a update important enough to go threw it again. Having to set the unit back to factory settings and then have to put back the settings I want is a pain in the @$$.

Elite 7 update 1.8.0 was released 3/12/13. You don't have to install it. Next update will include it though. Hope this helps. <*)}}}><

I finally got my elite-7 on the water today, right before I sold the boat. I was really impressed with the unit. Should have took it off for and installed it on the yak.

I heard he was switching to Humminbird. LOL!!

Problem is they just give the highlights of the update. They don't tell you about all the little tweeks the update does to make the unit run better.

Not on this one. There is one for Gen-2 units. 2.0.45.135. Released 5-9-13. <*)}}}><
