    Has anyone had luck with reducing the glare with a screen protector? If you have can you give me a brand name and style? Thanks

    I used this one for 3 years on my 1197 with fairly good results...
    ScreenPatronus, Screen protector - the difference is amazing.

    I'm now experimenting with this one...it doesn't darken the screen as much as the Screenpatronus but the reflectivity in the screen seems to be worse...(I can see myself clearly in the screen)...

    I've had good luck wearing a dark shirt and angling the head unit to where I can see my shirt in the screen ...
