    Default depth readout?


    Humminbird 598 SI sometime depth readout will show 1' depth while DI is reading bottom and correct depth. Can be at idle or faster speeds. Is new unit everything else works great. Its just the depth readout?

    Does it do this without the main motor running?
    Is there a second sonar unit on at the same time?
    Try adjusting the Surface Clutter menu higher.
