    Mine doesn't read depth either so ive ordered the transducer switch and gonna use my ducer off my 788 for running then switch over to start read si/di and stuff ,about the water spots I buy cheapo screen protectors and cut them to fit my screen ,real easy to install and clean ...buy them at big lots for 5 bucks and come 2 to a pack ..
