    Default HB SI transducer mount

Mounted my si transducer to the transom of boat & noticed it had a lot of play to it. Is this
suppose to be? Its the factory mount & I know its suppose to have a kick up feature, but it seems
awfully sloppy. Anyone else have this problem?

You are correct that this is the design of the "kickup" feature of the bracket...

You can bend the "ears" in some on the bracket or you can add a spacer to make it tighter...

(Just be forewarned that contradictory installation from the manual "could" void the warranty on the xducer if you eliminate the "kickup" feature...)

Thanks for the reply Rick. I tinkered around with it a little, & resolved the issue with a 3/8 flat washer.

Did you check to see if the transducer will still 'kick-up' after adding the washer?
