Need help with my 898c SI

With my humminbird 898c SI just wondering if when I'm on full screen SI, can I really get a full screen? What I mean is the side scan full page does not go from edge to edge. I have all the info on the left side of the screen info bar off, but It just leaves a white space. All other screens go out to the edge. Is this just a feature on the 898c that I have to live with? Any help is appreciated.

I think one of the updates will let you do full screen for si.

I think this is only for the 898 and 998 with newer software versions...

Press "Menu" twice to get into the main menu...
Cursor over to the "Sonar" tab...
Cursor down to "SI Readouts"....
Select "Off"...

This turns off the side Readouts on the SI view only and overlays temp and depth in lower left corner...

Rickie is right but you have to be running software version 6.180 or higher in your 898/998c Si unit to have this menu option.
