Terrova us2

Canepole, this is the first I have heard of this. Why would any transducer make any noise. Why would the u2 be any different from any transducer you affix to a boat. That kind makes no noise. I have noise in my entire mount which I don't like and feel its not the quitest motor out there otherwise I like everything else.

Every transducer makes noise. That's how they work.

Get some longer poles buddy. I guess that is a downfall of having it all in one package. I have a v2 iPilot with us2 but don't have a unit up front to mount it to

How the heck are you feshing without a unit up front? I keep one eye one the sonar/speed and the other on the poles the whole time.

exactly right

Well i got the new one on the water yesterday. Not as loud in the water but still noticable. Caught some nice crappie with the annoying clicking goin on. Just dont see how it doesnt spook fish. Oh well it works i guess. The motor itself is amazing. Love it. The spot lock is amazing.

I have my 998 ram mounted at my console but I turn it around wen I go up front. I check my speed with iPilot remote. I've got an old lowrance that came on the boat that I could remount up front I guess I don't know how it will work

I'd have a crick in my neck for sure, track line and water depth were key for us this weekend.

I don't hear any noise from my 597 connected to my us2 but my 998 that reads off the transom makes all kinds if racket. I imagine the us2 noise is not noticeable because of the depth of the trolling motor in the water.
