I have a Tracker PT175 with a Merc 60 2smoke on it, full carpeting, seats, etc., and I usually fish solo. I upgraded to the Terrova 55 with IP replacing a MG 43# 5 speed. I don't pull cranks much but am set up where I can when I want to. I usually longline 99% of the time, just my preference. The Terrova 55 does fine for me even pulling cranks but I only use 2 rods when pulling cranks or longlining due to the narrow coves I fish on my home lake. I can fish all I want (4-6 hrs) per trip by either method and have never run my single trolling battery down yet. Do get the IP, its worth the money, but whether you need the 80 lb terrova should depend on your style/method of fishing. All I had to do to upgrade was remove the MG and bolt on the Terrova, install a new plug on the wire, and install a new circuit breaker (oem one was done) and I went fishing. I don't feel like an 80 was necessary for me, but it may be for you depending on your style of fishing.
