    Default question about piranhamax gps?

Okay here's the deal. I'm planning on later this year or early next year adding at least a 798 or larger at the console and an 1158 on the bow. In the meantime to go along with my new terrova I bought a new 346 'bird with DI. It was a small but very nice for the size and price unit to get me by with down scan for awhile. I currently have an old eagle at the console that's iffy on function. I was thinking without breaking the bank on maybe getting one of those piranhamax 176 or 196 units with gps to replace it. It should read correctly for me plus provide gps in the meantime and when I get my big units I can always slap it on my jonboat which needs sonar anyways. My main concern is how accurate is the gps on these? Good enough for dumping/marking boo piles and keeping tight to them? anyone have either unit and for the intended use would you spend another 70-80 for the color?

Not sure about those but I have an Eagle Cuda 350 that was cheap and is dead on. Use it on the jon boat.
