Nice picture! Shows you don't have to have the $2500 units to get amazing shots. Were they crappie?

Crappies and yellows mixed together it seemed like. Caught my biggest yellow ever yesterday...about a pound! Mostly a negative feeding mood tho.

Well I was at work until after dark last night, so you win!

What was going on that the weather was nice with Wiskers off the boat?

OK BBD ... you been holding out on me

Seriously though .... "which" Elite 5 is that ?? (I have the Elite 5 DSI ... have you seen my thread on it ??)

Just out of curiosity ... as I've heard that Black Crappie & Yellow Bass seem to "hang" with each other ... were those Yellow Bass (& not Yellow Perch) that you are referring to as "yellows" ?? And if so, were the Crappie you caught, Black Crappie ??

It's the Elite 5DSI. I have seen your whole thread. I haven't caught a Black Crappie yet this winter. Those were yellow bass mixed with white crappies. Not very many yellow perch in Ky Lake. You can catch a few, but I used to fish for em out of Lake Michigan and they were huge. 15 inchers were not uncommon. I'll keep and eat these yellow bass. 2 sides, cheese,a slice of raw onion and some tartar sauce....mmm mmm good!
These were the fish from the day that screen shot was from.

Great ... feel free to jump in on the thread, anytime !! I'd be interested in what settings you have, to get such good pics. And I'm sure others would like to hear anything about what you've learned while setting it up & using it.
