    Default Down/Side imaging in not so clear water.


    I should have been more clear I guess but I was asking Lonestar Proud since he posted that picture.

    I ordered an 897 today. Can't wait to get it on the boat and try it out.

    I run Lowrance HDS units with the Structure Scan. Have an 8 and a 5 on the console and a 7 up front, all linked together through the structure scan module. that particular shot was on the 7.

    Here's a shot of crappie on submerged timber. Compare this shot to the one I posted above and you'll know what cover not to waste much time jiggin.
