New LSS-2 or a used LSS-1?
I have an HDS-5 and have been thinking about getting Structure Scan.
Would I be better off getting a used LSS-1 for around $300 or a new LSS-2 for Around $600?
Does the LSS-2 do a lot more than the LSS-1?

It only makes a difference on the Gen.2 models. on a 5 I wouldnt waste the money, Your not gonna makeout much on that small screen. I got a 10 an wish it was bigger. If your young with good eyes you might be marginal.

I have both, hooked to Gen-1 HDS 8s and can see no real difference. On a Gen-2 it may be different. I found my LSS-2 for $400 NIB while looking for a used LSS-1 and couldn't pass it up. There are deals out there if yo are patient.
