    Default Lowrance help

Recently made the change from Humminbird to Lowrance, think once I get it figured out I will like the change.

Bought the New Elite 7 and love it other than the GPS is slow to me, so I go on the look out for a 4000 puck or even a 3000 puck. Looking at the classifieds last week I see a LCX 28c HD pop up with a brand new 3000 puck with it at a GOOD price. I jump on it and it gets here today, everything looks great but I cant get the puck to work in either unit. It is brand new never installed and I am most likely doing soething wrong. somebody help me out before I pull my hair out.

You must set up a NMEA 2000 network. The NEMA 2000 network requires 12v to power work.

Did you run the setup wizard? If not try it and see if the 3000 shows up in data sources. If you have already run the wizard, you will have to restore defaults and start from scratch. Just swagin here.

I believe you can only share new waypoints. I been here before, but lost the key to the gate. ha
