Reply With Quotebowman, I have an HDS 7. I think you may have the water temp turned off. I think you go to page menue , hit enter and go to edit dater over lay. Its in your manual. i suspect water temp. is turned off. Should not be a problem. Good fishing.

Lil tech help please
Just got my hds 8 mounted at console, can't seem to get the water temp to show on the sonar?? Changed xducer to the correct one in the settings but still no luck. Any ideas???

It shows to be on, I have a 7 on the bow and it works fine. Just can't seem to get temp on sonar. I get it with structurescan though???
