The NMEA pigtail wire has two NMEA outputs due to some devices not recognizing the Prefix that we use when the unit is outputting the NMEA sentences versus what comes raw out of the GPS Receiver (the unit’s NMEA output also adds water depth and water temperature).

What I am awaiting on confirmation on is whether there is any NMEA output from the AIS connection with the NMEA Output menu turned off. I’m pretty sure that the GPS-HS GPS Receiver’s NMEA output is always at a 38,400 baud rate, regardless of whether the NMEA Output menu is set to On or Off.
