    Anyone know of place that gives classes on how to learn gps?....I have a humminbird down scan....

    Tried using my gps today and couldn't find the waypoints..

    Do you know the name of the waypoints you were trying to find? Could you see them on your unit?

    Hi,

    Yes, I can see the waypoints...Just cant find them in water....The lake I fish...We did a few habitat projects at it..So, I have a lot of cover in the lake..

    On a HB unit if you will drive at least .6 mph it will give you an arrow which way you are moving. Then you can navigate to the coordinate. You should zoom in on the FF as you approach the waypoint!! Zoom in as far as you can and it should show up on your finder.

    yes i know about the arrow..Just get confused which way to go....I also use the cursor to go to the waypoint..It reads how many feet you are way from the waypoint...I can get near it..Just seems like just never on it..
