    The only things I can think of is to relearn the remote, test current remote on another ipilot, or test a different remote with your ipilot. Other than that it is down to component level testing.

    Thanks to all for the help. I called a service center today and described everything I have done and they think it is the circuit board at the base of the trolling motor.
    I just wish I knew how to test it myself and save a hour drive one way and pay lord knows what for the repair.

    Control board is an easy fix yourself. $120 part Should be $45 for labor.

    Please tell me where you are finding a 80lb. terrova board for that price! I can change the circuit board, but would like to know for sure before I buy a $225.00 (what I was quoted) part that can't be returned.

    Terrova board is $225. V2 only $120.

    here it is for 190. they have both 24/36 and 12v boards.
