LSS-1 in winter

Will it hurt to leave my LSS-1 module in my boat over the winter? The boat is stored outside with a tarp and we have some pretty cold winters here in Kansas. Last winter I took it out of the boat but I would like to do some winter fishing this year.

I have left mine out for 3 years and so far not one issue with them. I just have mine under a carport.

Electronics are probably less affected by the cold than they are by heat. If you're storing your boat for 3 or 4 months, I would take the module out but otherwise it should be fine.
