    Default Circuit breaker

Do you think this will work on a trolling motor? Or any other ideas of a breaker, cutoff switch to kill power?

That will work. I've never seen one like it so keep us posted if you get it. I like the design as it would be easy to connect 6 gauge wires to it.

I have a 50 on it and never tripped it. Its a 12volt PD55. I just want something with a switch built in.

that does not have a "reset switch", you'll have to carry a spare fuse. Get a "resettable" circuit breaker. I got one at the local marine dealer for $10-15, IIRC.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Wilbur, a 55 pound calls for a 60 amp circuit breaker to run for any period of time on 10. Minn kota makes one that has aswtch and is resetable it is similiar to the other one you posted.

Don't think it will work because auto audio are like 14 gauge max. Don't sre how you could connect 6 gauge cable.

From the specs in the description should work just fine. Them big time audio amps draw a lot of amps it says boots for water proof and resettable. For the cost difference I'd sure try it. If it don't work I'm sure you could find a spot for it on your big truck.

I got one just like it when I bought my I-Pilot earlier this year.It is resettable and easy to install. 60 amps DC is 60 amps DC, whether it is on a boat or a car. Mine works just fine.
