Looking at the picture again, it does look like it has a reset button but did not see where it says its a resettable one.

    Cabela's: Manual Reset Circuit Breaker

This is very similar to what I've got on my Tracker PT 175 w/ a 55# Terrova with IP, has not tripped yet, but I don't run on 10, I do go up to 8 or 9 at times if I'm going to the other side of a large cove and too lazy to crank up the 60hp. Mine attaches to the battery terminal with a bracket that came with the breaker. If it does trip, I just have to open the storage compartment lid, and push the reset button and continue fishing.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

If you PD is not hardwired, then just unplug the power plug up front. That's what I do on my Terrova as a safety precaution.

I'm wondering. Can a circuit breaker be used as a power cut-off? I thought that a circuit breaker was "on" until it sensed an overload condition, then tripped. Can you trip it manually?

Wilbur, you need a way to disconnect when charging the battery, I blew to control boards before talking to Minn kota and finding the problem. I would call and ask what they reccomend.

The one that Wilbur posted on another thread can be used that way. We used to use them in a higher amp rating on lift gates on our straight trucks. Trip the breaker at battery box as a safety measure. Just reset and good to go. Wilbur post that link over here.
