Group 24 deep cycle and yes they are some around $75 or less!

Also, would I have to get a separate charger to charge it? thanks

yes that would do, but Wal-Mart has one for about $75. don't know how many batteries you're running, but I'd suggest a multi-bank on board charger hook to each battery and when you get home just plug it in and forget it. I have 3 batteries and use a Pro-Mariner Mini-Mite 3 bank and batteries are always ready when I am.
