Thread: Dead motor guide vari max

I have a Motor guide Vari Max that is about 2 years old. I ran it Sunday for a couple of hours then took it to the lake on Tuesday and it wouldn't do anything. The voltage indicator on top lights up and it is supposed to go off in a minute or so. It is staying on all the time but everything else is dead.
Any Ideas what is wrong with it??

Denny did help me out a great deal. He persuaded motorguide to replace the broken and patched mounting bracket and put a new head on it all under warranty. Denny is a great guy!!!!
