    I had the same issue on my HB, my problem was when I swiveled unit around.I used Humminbird Greg's solution , slightly bending gold pins out. Worked perfect thanks Greg.

    I had same problem on mine it was the power plug, so I changed plugs and it still happened ,then I ended up making a small shim of plastic cut from a tie wrap wedged it between plug and mounting thingy and it made it a tighter fit and so far no more power problems, good luck
