    Can a person record side imaging files on the lowrance side imaging units like you can on the humminbird?

    You can record all three channels if you want and use Lowrances Sonar Viewer to watch it on your computer.

    For the same reason I like looking at screen shots. There is also a program that you can use the logs to make maps with.
