    Default Ipilot Issues

V2 unit. Things were fine this morning until I hit the spotlock. It went into rabbit mode. Geeeeze what a ride. Everything seems fine except speed. Now, it is always wide open when I hit the prop button. Any input?

Ima putting out my coffee can condos today. Got some good snapshots. Beautiful day to do the condos.

My terrova will start at the speed the foot pedal dial is set to whenever I hit the prop button on the remote.

Erratic behavior of the remote unit sounds like a battery problem. Have you tried replacing the battery?

Weak battery? 12v or 24v system? I've heard weird things happen on the 12v ipilot system when the voltage starts to drop. I have a 24v ipilot and it starts acting funny especially with the gps functions, when charge is around the 1 dot mark.

Started working after I unplugged/replugged TM power. Battery was new in the handheld remote. 24V was good with meter. All connections look good. First time I ever had problems with V2. It is only 6-7 years old. I take good care of my stuff.

I am sure this will come back and haunt me.

Tom I had a problem like that. Took the remote apart and found the plastic tab was out of whack in the remote that pushes the acuator down inside the remote straightened it out and remote has been fine since.

I took my remote apart and found nothing visibly wrong. I despise intermittent problems.

Those remotes are poorly built. I hope the new ones are better. Be very careful when taking apart and putting back together. The plastic clips that hold the screws strip out and break easy. I will not buy any other electronics the first year on the market. After my I pilot and 797 purchases. They found the problems with each and made better in the first 2 years on the market.
