I don't think it will hook up & use the transducer of the trolling motor, but I'm not 100% sure. If it's a DSI unit, no. Even if it does hook up with the trolling motor, water temps would not be shown since the temp gauge is in the transducer of the depthfinder.
The GPS system is seperate from the depthfinder system ... so, yes .. it will read without the transducer being in the water.

If you don't get a specific answer here ... I'd call Minn-Kota & ask them what units are compatible with your trolling motor.

If it's not a DSI, yes it will work with US-2 using a MKR-US2-9 adapter cable from Minnkota, the tem gauge should work fine. The US-2 has a tempature sensor built in.
