I dont have a clue as I run an 858di and 898 with interlink. He is a cat guy and want will be mounting both off the transom for drift fishing. Wants to have the SI running on one and the DI on the other? Is this even possible with ethernet? If so what cables/splitters will he need. Wants me to help install. To me it would be lots simpler to just run both transducers but oh well.
I had a 788ciHD & a 898cHD. I used an Ethernet cable and tied them together. I used the HDSI(big transducer) that came with the 898 for both units. You go to the Networking Tab at the top of the screen to select which TD you want each unit to use.

    I hope I haven't confused matters.
