Sonar and DI transducer interference question.
I have a sonar unit up front (Lowrance, forgot the model) and a new Lowrance Mark 5 DSI on the console. Both transducers are mounted on the transom, opposite sides of the motor. Do I get interference from the sonar on the DSI? Just wondering because I hardly can see anything on the DSI. Not too happy with the unit at the moment. Maybe it's just me. Thanks for your help.

I have a HDS-7, and a Elite 5X-DSI mounted on the Trolling Motor. I get NO interference on either units. A DSI Transducer on the Elite-5X DSI and a Sonar Scimmer on the HDS-7.
Turning OFF the unit with the least interference, should get you the answer you are looking for.
