Dual Pro is my favorite and I've had them and Minn Kota both.

I have used the BPS brands and also Dual_Pro and they worked good but what I like about the MinnKota over them is ......the way the MinnKota puts the charge in in steps does a good job charging without cooking your water away overtime. I do not have to add distilled water near as often.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

The Dual Pro I just got works just like the MinnKota I have up front for trolling battery. It charges in steps and has the maintenance mode also.

I have had a ProMariner for three years and it just went bad last week. I'm thinking three years is good for something that is always on. I'm looking for a new one and MK does look like a good unit but I may go back with the PM unit also.

I purchased one of the BPS 3 bank chargers a few years ago and it went out right close to the end of the warranty. I was expecting to return it to Pro Mariner and wait for however long to get it fixed but within a week from me sending out my old unit, I received a brand new ProMariner and they paid shipping to me as well. I was shocked at how fast I got they new unit, and its worked like a charm for about 3 years now with no issues. I will buy from them if I need to ever replace. Never had a minn kota charger, but if its as good as my MK trolling motor, it will be alright as well.

I bought a boat that has this one...a ProTournament 150. It's quick....charges all 3 batteries overnight. I dont know how long it has been in the boat. I've had the boat for a little over a year now.

I have a 15 amp, three bank from BPS that is many years old and still works great, never had a issue with it cooking the water out of the batteries. I'll buy another when this one dies.
