I mounted one i had on a piece of oak long enough to hang down even with bottom of boat and c clamped it to transom. Easy to remove so you can throw boat in truck. Worked very well for me.
X2. I did the same thing. Couldn't be simpler. Just mount the transducer to the bottom of the board and clamp to boat. Course if you using a trolling motor, you can get a big radiator clamp and rig up a mount on the motor, or buy a mount for it, they make'em.
