    Okay i have a terova ipilot and i am trying to optimize the transducer setting on my hds unit. I cannot find anywhere what transducer type the terova has. I have set the transducer to general right now. Anyone know what to set my unit on for the built in sonar of my terova? I was thinking hstwsbl

    IM not sure as I dont have one but I know the HST-WSBL is for the the LOwrance Transducer

    Set it on unknown. The HDS will figure it out. It will give you the 50Khz, 83khz, and 200khz options. Pick 83 or 200, not 50. This is if you have the US2.

    Set it for "Generic 83/200" for all Universal sonar transducers.

    Mine works better on "unknown".

    You are correct , i got it from Lowrance myself for my us2 and my hds7
