Thread: 898 keeps powering off!!!

Had same problem with mine. Dealer had run positive lead to fuse box under the console. I re ran the positive wire from finder with a fuse directly to positive side of battery...fixed the problem. Good luck

I had some issues with mine at first too, I had wired it into the fuse block under the console to start with. After much frustration, I ended up running both a power and ground wire straight to the battery (Just be sure to put an inline fuse at the battery end). Ended up being the ground wire on mine that was the issue. The ground in my fuse block goes through a couple of quick connects in the wiring harness before heading back to the battery...

Haven't had an issue since.
