    Default Hb 798 question

I was wondering if anyone out there knew if you can put in coordinates off a map into the gps on the unit and and use go to to find those exact coordinates?

If you have the coordinates.. You certainly can enter them manually into the unit...(either at home in "forced simulator mode" or on the water in "Normal" operating mode)....And then use the "Goto" feature of the unit...

    Click "menu" twice...
Cursor over to the "Nav" tab..
    Cursor down to "Waypoints"...
    Cursor right to "create"...

You can also put the unit into "forced simulator mode" (while you are at home) and move around on the chart view until you find something interesting and mark a waypoint on the map so that you can use the "Goto" feature the next time you are out on the water...

Oh, I forgot 1 more scenario...

You can also enter coordinates into the Humminbird PC program, download them onto a SD card, stick the SD card into 1 of the card slots in the unit, and the unit will automatically load those coordinates into the unit's internal memory...(where you can use the "Goto" feature)...
