1. Does the foot pedal have to be connected for the copilot to work?

2. I have a copilot that was given to me but the cables have been cut off. Whis cable goes to the control board and which goes to the foot control (top vs bottom cable)?

On the V-1 it didn't. I use to have one.

On my Terrova it does not. I keep my foot pedal in the truck.

I have the PD v2. The pedal does not have to be connected and you can have both the pedal connected and use the remote and switch back and forth.
On the cables-you'll probably have to call MK--unless you want to trial and error--you have a 5050 shot

canepole the top cable on my riptide is the foot pedal. my co-pilot will work with out pedal attached. there is a sequence of hooking them up together i had to do to get both to work on mine.
