Question about HB 997c

I did the update last month that has a number long as my arm and everything seemed to work. I went on the lake today and also took a new Lakemaster Map I just bought. The map finally came up and I did some of the settings and was really impressed with the details and accuracy of the humps, dips and rivers. I am pleased with that part and once I get the depths to be correct, off about 4 feet, I will be pleased.
The question I have though is, I cannot turn off the course that only appears on some of the maps. I have the side bar turned off except for the temp and speed but the course on either the 2nd or 3rd down on the side bar will not turn off even though the OFF shows???? Anyone have a quick fix short of an 8 pounder???? Ferdi aka Fred

I think some of the Nav readout boxes cannot be changed...(when a chart view is showing).... Even tho it seems that option is available in the settings menu...

Seems like I remember trying to customize my Nav readouts and some of my choices (in certain boxes) would not "take"..

That would be correct Rickie. Some of the readout boxes on the navigation Views are fixed and even though they show as nothing being selected in the Select Readouts menu boxes; they will still show the same data.
