Oh, forgot to add that I just added the bow 898, and having both 898's networked is so much nicer than having to try to find my waypoints by looking back at my console unit.

Rickie, here are the pics I promised you when I got my new raised HB mount finished. I love it! So much handier than bending over every time I needed to punch a button. Since I'll be removing mine when I trailor the boat I did just a couple things differently than you did. Instead of a hand nut to fasten the HB bracket to the pedestal I used a 3/4 inch nut cut in half. And I used 1/4" plexiglass as the base to mount the HB bracket to, it's very light but very strong. Man does this make using this depth finder so much easier. Thank you again for the tips on how to do this and make it look clean and professional.
