You can't go wrong with a handheld Garmin. I have a Garmin Etrex that I use to keep from getting lost in the swamp.

I need the cheapest little hand-held GPS to get me back to some spots on ponds. Needs to be accurate cuz I want to get back onto structure I put out. I use a fish'depth finder, but I'm worried I won't see it well with that (a real cheap unit). Any suggestions?

X2 I have a Garmin Etrex Legend and its been great. I've had it for 5 yrs or so now and have not had any problems with it. Great unit for around $100.
X3 on the legend....great unit for the money and it will give you years of service.
