    Default mk/ tm and transducer help


    i went from a 40 to a 55 transom tm and i was wondering if it looks right. or if it needs to go foward or back its a pirahnamax 170 pics included thanx for any adviceName:  2012-03-07_17-27-56_542.jpg

    location looks good to me. Are you getting a good picture, or what? You may need to adjust the angle of the ducer to where the ducer is level in the water after the TM is deployed. You will need to consider the weight in the rear of the boat, etc., when adjusting it so it will be level, even tho the TM shaft may not be perfectly straight up/down. Only way to do it is be on the water.

    I ordered the metal bracket from bps today as well it will sit a lot better on there my wife goes with me and she sits on the bow seat so it's pretty level it seems but I'll look good tomorrow I'm glad y'all are experts and take the time to help me
