Thread: Trolling motor adjustment

Well I finally replaced my 17 yr.old M/G 41 today with a M/K maxxum 55. In order to have the foot control flat when pointed straight ahead the cable loops all the way to the right. I want the cable to loop to the left. On the M/G all I had to do was take the top cover off and realign the cable gear in it's housing. How do I realign the M/K?

I called a factory rep and he walked me through it.
