If the water is stained, you will see about a foot of the bottom and have NEVER seen a fish with mine. I paid 120.00 for mine at Dick's, and I'am not sure the more expensive ones will see any better if the water is stained. Daveywonder

Hello Everyone, I just thought I would throw this one out here for discussion. Thinking of buying one(underwater camera) to get a better idea, picture of what is under and around the boat already have the hds lowrance 10 ,side image, down scan system . When I look them up on google the ones that seem to be good are the upper end Marcum. Never seen one in person thats why I am asking. I fish in S.C. Lake Murray mainly do not know what I will be able to see if water is not clear? When I looked them up it seems like alot of folk use them for ice fishing wanting to get some feedback before I purchase one . If someone nows a better one let me know please.

if the water is stain ,will not see anything,I have seen many fish on mine in fairly clear lakes, they will swim up to it,it cost about 300 or more. When cloudy days make it hard to see.
