    Default Assistance with V2 mounting

Just bought a used Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 with quick release bracket to put on my Tracker PT175. Does anyone have any pics of this trolling motor mounted on a tracker? I'm trying to find the best postion to put the motor on the bow. Any advice, pics, or tips would be appreciated.

I made a stainless plate and drilled it to mate to the existing Motor Guide holes that came with the boat. I then drilled and tappped holes and mounted the slide plate of this particular quick disconnect, then mounted the TM. Procrappie 175.

If you liked how the OEM TM was on the boat, and how it deployed, and the how the boat handled, then mount it so it will be in a similar position to the OEM.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I did the same thing with my Lowe 180 but I made my plate out of a piece of aluminum I had. If I ever want to sell my boat and get something different I'll be
able to put a regular trolling motor back on it without having so many holes in the boat.

Like lowe rider said, when I sold my Tracker, I removed the V2 and installed the MG that came with the boat. No new holes. The stainless plate was just a scrap I dug up somewhere.
