Thread: Side by side comparison

Is there any where that I can go and see a side by side SI comparison of a Lowerance Structure scan and Humminbird image of the same thing? My uncle is a DIE HARD Lowerance man and he is wanting to see a side by side comparison before he buys one. He would like to see a side by side of a school of fish (if possible) because he doesn't think that the Humminbird will pick up a school of crappie as good as a Lowerance. He also asked me if an 1198 would show up more detailed images than a 998 or 898 because of the pixel difference. If anyone could help me out it would nice. Thanks.

Last time I was there, Gander Mtn. in Paducah had that very thing. Side by side, running on demo.

You don't show where in TN you are from, so I don't know if that would be beneficial for you. Might search where there is another Gander that might be closer. They are probably all set up similarly to each other.
