    I use the 60amp manual reset shown here. Same as the Minn Kota. Both are made by Bussman. Only difference is the name printed on the unit. I deal with this company often.

    You don't install a circuit breaker to protect equipment, they protect YOU. Its hard to get away from a fire when your in a boat.

    went ahead and ordered the 60 amp one that is recommeded for the TM, thanks to all that help in the decision

    When you get older, it's lots easier to push a reset button than undo one of those dam inliners. ha

    I suspect circuit breakers are like batteries: lots of brand names but made by a just handful of manufacturers.

    I also use the 60 amp manual reset breaker... As a matter of fact, I open the circuit everytime I'm thru fishing just to keep the voltage off the trolling motor...When I launch my boat I go to the back and pull the little lever up to reconnect it.
