    Default My Install.......

well finally had some time on vacation to get my new unit installed and boat cleaned up. Here are some pics documenting my progress.
    • Stripped down running new wire. I used the battery on the right as a dedicated battery. I have my other FF on TM tied into the cranking battery and the battery on left is for TM

    • I installed weathersense on my boat too. Upon directions it stated that it needed to be "out of direct sunlight and although sealed, needed to be protected from getting soaked". So I made this bracket to fit up underneath a section of boat in the rear.

Tom, neat looking install..Let me know how you like the weathersense. I really like your rod holders. Who made them and could you post a close up of the handle end support? Thanks

    Don G & Majflyboy,
Here are the pics you requested.
    • majflyboy, this is a Unikas UF-10K fuel water seperator I purchased from Cabelas. Although I have a removable tank, i never do. This is a 1997 model boat and motor so I wanted to take as good of care of it as I can.

    • DonG-I purchased these from Scott with HiTek rod holders. I use Hiteks anyway and had an extra set of risers which he made to fit the rail system of my War eagle boat. So I emailed him about building the horizontal bar to hold about 8 rods and this is what he came up with. I love that the rods have their own place and are less likely to get broke. And the whole system is moveable up and down the rails if need be. This still gives me access to my gun box and such.
