OK, thank you. Now is a hst-wsu transducer strictly for mounting on a transom. My hst-wsu is a transom mount, I brought a kit and mounted it on my trolling. My hst-wsu has now quit,I'm thinking transom mount won't last on a trolling motor, but I have had it mounted this way for 5yrs.

Your HST-WSU can also be mounted on the trolling motor. Folks have been putting it there for many years using the transom mount bracket and a simple hose clamp. If you're wanting to protect the transducer from stumps/rocks etc. consider buying the transducer shield or the Wee VEE guard. Both work well.

I have the HST-WSU in stock for $62 +$8.95 flat rate shipping. I also carry the transducer protectors if you're interested. We are a board sponsor on the CC and would be happy to answer any questions you have.
